Nearly 36 years in the mental health field-
in homes, schools, clinics, and a variety of other settings-
have given Ted Kasper, MA, LMSW, the insight and knowledge base from which to assist you and
your family.
He has had experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
experiencing adjustment problems and other general difficulties; developmentally disabled
children, adolescents, and their families; adults and adolescents with mental illness; and,
substance using / abusing adolescents and adults.
In January 2005, Macomb Mental Wellness Counseling was formed in order to provide behavioral
analysis & behavioral intervention strategies for parents, coaching, and support to
families (aka, "SuperNanny" services). An additional service is outpatient & in-home counseling and therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families.
EDUCATION
Master of Arts in Counseling from Wayne State University
Graduate training in Early Childhood Education from Oakland University
Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Michigan University
LICENSED MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK (LMSW):
Lincensure from the State of Michigan as a Clinical Social Worker requires participation in Continuing Education courses. This helps to ensure that Ted Kasper, MA, LMSW's knowledge base remains up-to-date.
